Using Skill Tags: For Employees
This article offers a brief guide to help employees understand the purpose of and how to use skill tags.
OVERVIEW
Skill tags are a tool that allows you to flag useful skills you have that may not directly apply to your job role.
For example, if you are a Customer Service agent, you might not have the job requirement to speak a second language, such as Spanish, but if your team occasionally fielded Spanish-language calls, you may want to indicate to your manager that you have this skill set. Skill tags in the Namely system allow you proactively identify these skills on your Namely profile.
ACCESS
You can utilize skill tags by taking the following steps:
-
Login to Namely.
-
Go into your Namely profile.
-
Click Edit Profile next to your Name.
-
Click the Skills & Experience tab on the left-hand menu.
Depending on your company settings, you will be able to do the following:
-
Enter in the name of the tag you want to create into the blue field under Skill Tags.
-
Click Add Skill Tag.
OR
-
Click on the dropdown under the Skill Tags section, and select the appropriate tag.
-
Click Save.
