How do my terminated employees get access to their paystubs or Form W-2?

Terminated employees can still access their previous payroll records, including Pay Stubs and W-2s, by logging into NamelyPayroll.comIt is important to note that final W-2 Forms are not available until January of the following year

Once an employee is terminated in HRIS (see Terminating an Employee in Namely Using the Termination Form), they will receive an email from Namely Payroll with the subject line Reset Password to their personal email inbox. It contains a link that allows them to reset their password, which can be used to log into Namely Payroll to view payroll documents.

Please note, the password reset link expires after 24 hours.

This email will only be received, and employees will only have access to documents if you check the 
Give terminated employee future access to pay stubs and tax documents boxand include their email address when terminating them.

If you forget to select the above option, you can click View & Edit from the Termination Scheduled window that appears on the terminated employee's profile to check the box.

Once your employee resets their password, they can login to NamelyPayroll.com using their personal email address and new password.

After logging in, the employee can click Paychecks to access past pay stubs and Reports to view W-2 Forms.
