COVID-19 California Tax Deferrals Report

This article details a new California Tax Deferrals report which will help you track the new due dates of any deferred CA taxes, so you will know when the rolling 60-day extension period for these deferrals is set to end.

Overview

Congress recently passed the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act in an effort to provide immediate financial relief to businesses and individuals. In response, the State of California has allowed the deferrals of California State Income Tax (CA-SIT) and State Disability Insurance (CA-SDI) taxes for 60 days from the original due date.

Namely has created a new report which tracks these deferrals if you have employees in California. This report will allow you to see the new due date for your respective taxes, eliminating the need to manually track the due dates.
