How to add workers compensation within Namely Payroll.
Adding Workers Compensation in Namely Payroll
Note: Namely does not collect or remit Workers Comp payments. You would have to work with your Workers Comp provider to remit payments. We can only set it up in Namely Payroll for reporting.

To Add Workers Comp:

Go to Namely Payroll > Company > Worker Comp.

Click the Add Worker Comp.

Fill out the new Worker Comp record by adding the following information from the rate notice you received:

Add the Class Code to the Work Comp Code field

Work Comp Description
-
Start Date (leave End Date blank)

Employee Rate (used for Washington State only)

Once you click Save, go to the user profile of an applicable employee. You can add the Worker Comp code from the respective dropdown menu under the General tab of the employee's Payroll profile.
