Pod Managers vs. CRMs

Confused about the difference between a Pod Manager and a Client Relationship Manager? Use this resource to understand their different responsibilities and functions in Namely!

POD SERVICE MANAGERS

The Pod Service Manager acts as the people leader and the pod visionary. They are responsible for helping internal team members (including the CRM) define and achieve their personal career goals while driving productivity for the pod as a whole.

The Pod Service Manager approaches pod management from a big picture perspective to identify improvement areas and partner with internal stakeholders to remove roadblocks.

In addition to overseeing their team, the Pod Service Manager also serves as the functional representative of
Service within Namely across all of Client Operations.

CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGERS

The Client Relationship Manager (CRM) is your Namely advocate. The CRM ensures that you get the most out of Namely’s software and services. They leverage sophisticated tools and resources to track trends and seek opportunities to increase the value you gain from our service.

They also manage all contract renewals and help you work through challenges from a holistic standpoint.

They are the first partner you will have once you transition from implementation and they will remain present throughout your Namely journey.
