Intro to Namely Time

Provides an overview of Namely Time, how it is functions and links to some resources to start you on your Namely Time journey.

OVERVIEW

Manage your hourly workforce with confidence - with Namely Time! This article provides a high-level overview of how Namely Time is implemented and then used by you, your managers and your employees.
 

  1. Namely Time is installed on a cloud server, so no installation is required.

  2. If you sign up for Namely Time, we'll create a database where your company's hours will be stored.

  3. We then link Namely Time to HRIS.

  4. You can begin managing your hours by clicking Manage Time Sheets. Log in and start setting up a company.

  5. Once configured, employees will use the Manage My Timesheet link in HRIS to clock in and out. Punches are immediately recorded in the database.

  6. Managers log into Namely Time Manager to access and approve hours and exceptions.

  7. After time is approved, data is exported using a Period Export which can be used to process payroll.
