Jobvite Integration Setup

Set up instructions for the Jobvite integration.

Jobvite is a recruitment software that feeds candidates over to Namely once integrated.

Part 1: Create the jobvite_id Field in Namely

You will need this field in order for hired candidates to flow into Namely.

  1. In Namely, go to Company > Settings > Profile Fields.

  2. Click Add New Field.​​​​​​​​​​​​

    • ​​​​​​​Label should be jobvite_id.

    • Type should be Text.

    • Note: If you create the field with a typo, please delete it and recreate it rather than editing the field name. 

Part 2: Log into Namely Connect

  1. Go to Namely Connect.

  2. Type in your company’s permalink [yourcompanyhere].namely.com and click Continue.

  3. If you’re not already logged into Namely on the browser, you'll be prompted to log in. Enter your Namely credentials.

  4. When prompted, click Accept to authorize Namely Connect.

     

Part 3: Set a Valid Namely Connect “Owner”

  1. Go to View all users at the top of the page.

  2. Ensure the person who’s selected as the Owner has the access role Administrator and is an active employee in Namely. If the current Owner meets those requirements, you can go back by clicking the Namely logo on the top left.

  3. If you don’t see a valid Owner on that list, have someone who meets the requirements (an active administrator) log in to Namely Connect. (Everyone who logs in joins the list of names.)

  4. Once they are on the list, choose that person as the Owner.

     

Part 4: Connecting to Jobvite

  1. In Namely Connect, find the Jobvite connection on the list of integrations.

  2. Click Connect.

  3. You will be asked to complete the API Key and SecretThis is provided to you by your Jobvite account manager.

  4. Click Connect.

  5. You’ll see a list of standard field mappings. Continue by clicking Save Field Map.

  6. Back on the main page, you’ll see a new button appear under the Jobvite integration.

  7. Log in to your Jobvite account.
