API Endpoint Release June 2022

See our API update below.

We have updated the written formatting of certain attributes and their endpoints in our API to ensure the data can be consumed across Namely via Okta. Such attributes include

• Org Units

• Division

• Office Location

• And Custom Org Units.

These updates exist on the backend and are not visible in the UI, but allow the above attributes to be consumed more efficiently by Okta resulting in the unification of your data across Namely.

Additionally, we have included a null specification within Org Unit Groups in an effort to refine communication of fields across systems and cover instances where an Org Unit Group is not selected. Previously, had an Org Unit Group not been selected for an employee, Okta and other integrations, would not recognize Org Unit Group as a valid field or attribute for that employee.

Since these attributes may be linked to specific access roles it is important to review the current permissions of your API users to ensure proper scope. You can do this by going to Company page > Settings > Roles & Permissions.
