How is PTO calculated in Namely?

To calculate PTO, Namely divides the total amount of time off allowed under a plan (in hours or days) by the annual number of accrual dates. For example:

  • Daily Accrual: Total time-off amount / 365 (366 on leap years)

  • Weekly Accrual: Total time-off amount / 52

  • Semi-Monthly Accrual: Total time-off amount / 24

  • Monthly Accrual: Total time-off amount / 12

  • Annual and Annual Lump Sum: The total amount is granted once per year.
