Global Company Settings Permissions

Global Company Settings Permissions—what they are and how to use them.

The Global Company Settings Permissions section governs Company > Settings via a Yes or No style system of access. Similar to the Global General Permissions section, a role can either use the features under this section or can’t. Scoping isn’t possible for this section—all features included in it are all or nothing.

In order to access Company > Settings, both the Company Settings Info and Company Settings Overhead permissions must be enabled. Once those permissions are enabled, a role can be granted access to any additional settings sections.

It is important to note that the options in this section grant access to the back-end settings for the feature described—not the feature itself. For example, it is possible to grant a role the ability to manage the Skill Tags section of Company > Settings but deny it the ability to see skill tags on individual employee profiles.
