We're excited to announce unified Org Units, soon to be available on all Namely sites!

This update allows you to organize your employees into office locations, departments, and divisions in configurations beyond what's currently available to your company. The below PDF and article detail the benefits you'll reap when this update has been applied to your Namely site.

UNIFICATION

Manage and configure your employee’s department, division, and office locations with just one list that syncs automatically from your employee's HRIS profile straight to Namely Payroll. Refer to Org Types and Org Units and Updating Employee Departments and Divisions for more information.

PERCENT-BASED ALLOCATIONS

Do you have employees who work across multiple org units? Assign and manage percent-based allocations for employee demographics across multiple Org Units and report on those percent allocations for costing purposes. Refer to Assigning Org Units (With Allocations) for step-by-step instructions!  

EFFECTIVE DATING

Make changes to Org Units that take effect in the past or future for easy updates to historical records and future assignments. 

ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

Provide insights on your company's organizational structure in Company > Settings and view allocations directly on employee profiles.
