Are new hires able to request time off immediately?

Unless a probationary period has been set on a time off plan, employees can request time off immediately. 

To set a probationary period:

  1. Click Company > Settings > Time Off.

  2. Select the intended time off plan.

  3. Click Edit next to the plan.

  4. In the Probationary Period section, enter the month(s) employees must be with the company before gaining time off request access.
