How do I set up a time off plan that does not automatically renew each year?

Time off plans in HRIS renew every year based on the date listed on the plan renewal. Avoid a yearly time off plan renewal by following the instructions below in order to reconfigure the plan. You can choose to either un-assign employees from the plan or create a new plan with a zero-day accrual plan.

Un-assign employees on the last day of the plan year:

  1. Assign employees to the plan by referring to How do I mass assign a time-off plan?.

  2. On the last day of the plan year, un-assign the employees by following the instructions from How do I mass remove employees from a time-off plan?.

Create a new time off plan with a Zero-day accrual plan:

  1. Create a time off plan

  2. Enter "0" for the time off amount (hours or days) and do not select the checkbox for Allow unused time off to carry over.
