How do I process a final paycheck for a terminated California employee?

In order to meet the requirements for California's Labor Code section 204, override the terminated employee's direct deposit and utilize In-House Check Printing.

In certain instances, we may be able to process same-day payments as long as the following criteria is met:

1. The cycle must be approved before 12:00 PM ET.

2. You must wire immediately after, so it is received by 12:00 PM ET for the same-day deposit.

3. The fee for same-day funding is $350 per item for Same Day File and $3 per employee being paid.
