How can I confirm that my employees are allowed to waive a benefit?

You can view the waive options for a specific plan by clicking the Manage Benefits option from your Namely homepage, if you've migrated your Benefits Administration platform to our Plan Setup Assistant.

  1. On the plan setup page, select the appropriate tab and scroll to the Coverage Line section.

  2. Click Edit next to the coverage line name.

  3. The second question on the coverage line configuration page indicates if the plan can be waived or not. 

 

If you manage your Benefits in Namely Payroll, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Enrollment Setup > Configuration > Coverage Line.

  2. Click Edit next to the Coverage Line in question. 

  3. Review to see if the Waive Option box is checked or not.
