Does Namely HRIS send an alert when certifications are about to expire?

Yes- if you have created a custom field to track certifications in HRIS and added a reminder to that custom field, the system will alert you when one is about to expire.

Note: You are be able to create reminders for you and your selected employees on any regular date fields (e.g., birthday or start date) and certain additional, time-oriented fields (e.g., expiration dates and 90 day new hire check-ins).
