Can Namely temporarily stop state income tax withholding and defer our tax payments?

The Namely Service Team can help you temporarily stop state income tax withholdings and defer remittance for any states that have extended Q1 payment deadlines.   For a list of these states, please see COVID-19: Deferred State Tax Payments.

In order to stop state income tax withholdings and delay remittance, please use the Tax Deferral Waiver and submission process outlined in COVID-19: Tax Deferral Waiver.

Note: per the language in the Tax Deferral Waiver- unless stated otherwise in your request to the Service Team- withholdings will be stopped and remittance will be deferred for all taxes/jurisdictions for which you are eligible.
