Can I make changes to my pay cycle after I've approved payroll?

You do have the ability to make changes to an approved pay cycle -  however the window to "roll back" your pay cycle is limited, and must be done prior to 5:00 p.m. on your payroll due date.

To roll back your payroll, click
Edit Pay Date next to the pay cycle in question on the Payroll Center page in Namely Payroll.

You can now re-process your payroll, making any changes you need to make. Once completed, you can re-approve your pay cycle.

Note: A rollback must be done prior to 5:00 PM ET on the due date of the payroll. This ensures that the payroll has not yet been included in the bank file to be NACHA’d. It also needs to be in a Pending status. If a payroll is in Current or Active status, no rollback is necessary; if it is in Paid status, then a rollback is not possible, as the NACHA has already been sent.  Once rolled back, the payroll must be re-approved prior to the standard 5:00 PM ET deadline to maintain regular funding.
