Am I allowed to defer my employer Social Security taxes after my Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loan period has expired?

Yes - following the passing of the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act of 2020 on June 5, you may defer your Social Security taxes regardless of loan or loan forgiveness approval through the end of the 2020 calendar year.

Please see
