What can cause the headcount to be incorrect?

  • Employees who have user status = ‘Active Employee’ before their start date. i.e completed the onboarding session, but haven’t started working yet.

  • Employees who have user status = ‘Active Employee’ and a departure date. 

  • Employees who have user status = ‘Inactive Employee’ but no departure date

  • Fake Profiles/Test Profiles/API Profiles

  • Rehires 

  • Currently an employee is counted in headcount AFTER their start date and BEFORE their departure date, so ON their start/departure date, they are not counted in headcount.

  • ACR (Active Resource Count) used for billing looks at User Status = Active Employee at the True Point in Time, and does take into account Start/Departure Dates

What to check: 

Employee status, start dates, departure dates, and rehires.
