Tax Parameters on the HCM Profile Payroll Tab

Employees can now view their current tax parameters right on their HCM profile.

OVERVIEW

We've enhanced the Payroll tab on the HCM profile. With this latest update, your employees have the ability to review their current tax parameters right on their profile. Go to Tax & Deductions under the Payroll tab to see a snapshot of both federal and local taxes. 

TIP:

Taxes can't be edited from the HCM profile. Taxes that need to be edited should be done so through Namely Payroll. Once the rate has been edited, the HCM profile will update immediately to reflect the new information. For more information, please see our article Adding and Editing Employee Tax Information

Permissions

All employees will be able to view their own tax parameters on their profile. Administrator visibility into the Payroll tab will mirror the access they have in Namely Payroll if an administrator can only view tax parameters for certain EINs or pay groups in Namely Payroll, the same will hold true on the employee’s HCM profile. You can configure access to specific pay groups in Namely Payroll by going to Company > Users.

You can grant access to the Payroll tab to other users by going to Company > Settings > Field Group Bundles > permission level > Edit and select a permission specification for the Payroll on the grid.
