How does Namely Analytics handle Rehires?

  • Attrition is driven on Termination Date, so once the Termination Date is wiped, they would be removed from the Attrition Dashboard.

  • Headcount - the headcount report will show people based on the current Start and Departure Dates, and not their start/departure dates at a past point in time. This means that if an employee had a departure date, then the departure date is removed because they are a rehire, the headcount graphs will show the employee based on their original Start and Departure Date.

    • The rehired Employee will not appear in the New Hire by Month graph. 

  • Diversity - this is an effective dated report, so it looks only at Start / Departure, so rehires would be counted during the time that they were not active.

  • Arrivals - the rehired employee will appear in the Arrivals dashboard only on their original start date, and not on their rehire date.
