Why are life events not displaying correctly for an employee?
There are several things that can cause unexpected behavior around the display of Qualifying Life Events for an employee. We recommend investigating a few items in Namely Payroll if an employee is not seeing the proper Qualifying Life Event options:

Review the employee's Demographic page on their payroll profile. Confirm that they are in the correct branch, division, department, and class.

Review your life event mapping setup (Namely Payroll > Enrollment Setup > Coverage Line Event Map) to ensure that there are no unintended restrictions to which classes, departments, divisions, or branches are able to elect various benefits.
If you have inspected the items above, and your employee is still receiving the error message, please submit a case in the Help Community. Include the name of the employees affected, what behavior you're expecting and the desired effective date for the Qualifying Life Event with your request.
