Updates to Life and Disability coverage, the W-2 Preview Report, and Federal Form W-4.

The latest updates and improvements in Namely include:

• We’ve added participation requirements and rate guarantees to Life and Disability benefits configuration in the Benefits Setup Assistant. Participation requirements designate the minimum number or percent of employees that need to enroll in a plan for the carrier to keep the plan active. Rate guarantees designate how long rates for life and disability last.

  • Note: Currently, unmet participation requirements won't void a plan—the feature is only for tracking purposes.

• The W-2 Preview Report in Payroll is now generated on a daily basis between October and January to provide you with the most current year-to-date W-2 totals.

• To reduce unintended errors in employee withholding, we’ve replaced all instances of the 2018 Federal Form W-4 in client onboarding templates with the 2019 form. We’ve also hidden the 2018 form from the Manage eSignature feature.
