What is expected from me/my company during the migration project?

No action is needed on your end! Once your platform is migrated, and you are actively using your new benefits tool, please reach out through our Help Community, and a member on your Service Pod will assist with any questions.

Will the migration project have any sort of impact on my current benefits setup?

The migration process will have no effect on your current benefits set up, aside from applying a future plan end-date that coincides with your benefit renewal date. Your current benefits can still be edited in Namely Payroll, prior to the end-date of the plan.  Whether continued from the previous plan year or newly implemented for Open Enrollment, all plans must be built in the new platform for your upcoming plan year.

How will I rebuild the benefits that get migrated to the new benefits platform?

Some of your company benefits may have already been migrated during your 2019/2020 renewal. If they were not yet migrated, you can choose one of the following options:

  • We recommend you submit an Open Enrollment Project Request with Namely. Your assigned benefit administration consultant will rebuild plans on the new platform while configuring the rest of your Open Enrollment changes.

  • You can rebuild the plans on the new platform while configuring the rest of your Open Enrollment changes.

Will there be an impact on my carrier feeds if there are any active?

Active carrier feeds will not be impacted; however, most carrier feeds require adjustments during Open Enrollment to ensure all benefit setup changes are captured for the upcoming plan year.

Will there be an impact on employee elections and deductions?

Active elections and/or deductions will not be impacted and will continue as is until related actions in the Enrollment Wizard are taken.  Typically, this does not occur until Open Enrollment unless a Qualifying Life Event is experienced.

Will there be training on the new benefits platform?

Yes, more information to come! For current information/articles on the new benefits platform, visit our Help Community.
