Employee Self Service Overview
The purpose of Employee Self Service (ESS) is to allow employees to view information such as home address, date of employment, emergency contact(s) and benefit elections, as well as payroll information such as wages, federal and/or state tax elections, check history, W2 history and view time punch detail, if applicable.
Employees will be able to log in the day following payroll processing to view their pay stubs and employee information.
In addition to having access to print copies of pay stubs and W2s, employees can update the following information on ESS if the employer has opted to enable change requests:

Phone number
-
Email address
-
Marital status on personnel record
-
Emergency contacts
-
W-4 information
When employees make changes using the ESS portal, the payroll administrator must approve these changes before they take effect in CertiPay. Pending changes must be activated in CertiPay to allow employee changes in ESS.
