Applicant Pool & Sarma Background Screening Integration Information

Initiating the Background Screening

From your applicant’s profile, click on the Background Tab:

Select the package or service that you would like to use for this applicant:

Submitting the Order

Click on Submit Order:

Applicant Notification

The applicant is emailed a questionnaire they must fill out that would include them entering sensitive data (such as their social security number, which is not stored within Applicant Pool) as well as the consent & disclosure paperwork.

In addition to the email, the applicant is also sent a text message. If they did not provide a cell phone number, they will receive an automated call instructing them to check their email.

 

Checking the Status

Once a background screening has been submitted, you can come back to this same tab to check on the status:

Reporting

You can also report on any background screenings by going to the Reports > Standard Reports Tab:
