Benefit Accrual Tracker
You can use the Accrual Tools to zero out all accrual balances for all employees, or to accrue a flat number of hours for a set of employees.
On the CertiPay home page, click the Employee Utilities list and select Benefit Accrual Tracker.
By default, the last viewed employee is shown on the Benefit Accrual Tracker page. To find a different employee, click the Find Employee link and select the employee from the Employee Lookup window.
Click the Accrual Tools link to open the Accrual Tools page.
From this page, you can do the following tasks:

Zero out all accrual balances for all employees as of a specific date.

Add a flat number of hours to a set of employees.

Add a flat number of hours to a set of employees based on their anniversary date.
Zeroing Out Accrual Balances for All Employees
To zero out all accrual balances for all employees for the specified date, update the following fields from the Earning Accrual Utilities page, and click the Adjust Balance to Zero as of Date button when finished:

Enter the effective date when to adjust balances to zero. |

Once the adjustment is scheduled, CertiPay defaults back to the main Earning Accruals page.
Adding a Flat Number of Hours to a Set of Employees
To add a flat number of hours to a set of employees, update the following fields from the Earning Accrual Utilities page, and click the Simple Accrue when finished.
Earning |
Click the list, and select the desired Earning Code to accrue. |
Hours |
Enter the number of hours to add to the set of employees. |
Effective |
Enter the effective date when to add the hours to the set of employees. |
Salary/Hourly |
Click the list, and select the employee pay type to add hours to. |
Fulltime/ Parttime |
Click the list, and select the employee type to add hours to. |
Description |
Enter a description for the accrual hours. |
Once the adjustment is scheduled, CertiPay defaults back to the main Earning Accruals page.
Adding a Flat Number of Hours to a Set of Employees Based on Anniversary Date
To add a flat number of hours to a set of employees based on their anniversary date, update the same fields specified in Adding a flat number of hours to a set of employees.
Additionally, in the From and To fields, enter the date range to be used to determine the employees' anniversary date.
When finished, click Accrue by Anniversary Date to add the number of hours to the matching employees.
Adding/ Editing Accruals:
If you need to make any adjustments on the accruals that is currently processed you can either manually add a benefit or edit a previously accrued one.
To add a new benefit:
You will go into the Benefit Accrual Tracker, go into the employees profile by clicking Find Employee, then press "Add":
You can then select the Earning you need to accrual, enter the date of the accrual, add a description, and enter the amount that you are needing to accrual:
How to Edit the Benefit:
To edit an existing benefit, select the earning, and press edit. Here you will be able to edit the earning, Date, Description, hours, or Eligible Date. Once you have make the changes, press the "Save" button:
